SLABHARD® has expanded its flooring systems portfolio with the introduction of the SLABHARD® Color Chip 1 Day System, a new decorative polyaspartic flooring system engineered to deliver durable, seamless concrete protection with an attractive color chip finish and rapid return-to-service.
Designed for demanding commercial and industrial environments, the Color Chip 1 Day System combines mechanically prepared concrete, rapid crack and surface repair as needed, a high-solids polyaspartic base coat, decorative vinyl color chip broadcast and a UV-stable protective finish coat. Under appropriate project conditions, the complete system can be installed within a single day—significantly reducing installation time compared with traditional multi-day decorative flooring systems.
The system provides excellent abrasion, chemical and stain resistance together with UV-stable, non-yellowing protection. Partial- and full-broadcast color chip options provide decorative flexibility while creating a seamless, easy-to-clean surface suited to environments where appearance, durability and reduced operational downtime are all important considerations.
FASTFLO™ 80 FC Ultra serves as the rapid-curing pigmented base coat for the decorative chip broadcast. FASTFLO™ 80 Ultra or FASTFLO™ 80 FC Ultra can be used as the protective finish coat for accelerated return-to-service, while EASYFLO™ 88 provides an alternate finish option with extended working time for larger or more complex installations.
