SLABHARD® Color Chip Transition Update
We’re excited to share that Alta Paints & Coatings has expanded its color chip offering as part of the transition to SLABHARD® — the unified brand across Alta and Desert Polymer Flooring, created to bring greater consistency and performance across our product lines. This transition also reflects our continued investment in expanding the breadth and depth of high-performance solutions available to our customers.
What’s Changing
While the chip blends and product quality remain exactly the same, all chip blend names previously associated with Chips Unlimited have been renamed to reflect the proprietary SLABHARD branding. This change allows for improved clarity and consistency across marketing, ordering, and technical support.
Additionally, to improve convenience and flexibility, we are transitioning from 55 lb. chip boxes to 25 lb. boxes. This makes it easier to move product around the jobsite and gives you more control when dialing in the exact amount needed for your project. Please review your quantity requirements when placing your next order, as the smaller box size may affect how many boxes you need.
- Our previous blends remain the same but have been renamed.
- All chips continue to be sourced from Chips Unlimited.
- Chip box packaging is being updated to a smaller format.
